Encouragement - SALT

This week Hazel set our theme...

'Encouragement'

Here on Salt we have been very encouraged by your comments and by the wonderful creations that you have shown us as together we have combined our faith and our love of crafting.

I love that verse in 1 Thessalonians 5:11: 'Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.' - in fact, there is so much about encouragement in those letters, and indeed, in other letters from Paul. Encouragement is such a blessing to receive and also to give.

We'd love to see your take on this challenge
so please leave us a comment when you are finished your piece,
so that we and others may see your work.

When I first heard the theme I immeadiately had the idea of creating a set of cards that would have encouraging verses on them. When I set about looking for some the Beatitudes just seemed fitting. So I printed them out onto acetate with a new font I downloaded called Route 3. I managed to get 5 done this for this morning, will finish the others and add them later.

Ingredients:
Papers by Basic Grey, Anna Griffin, TLC, HOTP and others.
Ribbon, eyelets, brads and butterfly punch.

Those are fabulous and very encouraging just to read them!

Thanks for your encouraging post on my blog last week. I absolutely do believe it's a direct blessing from God when He gives us children. So when I start freaking out, I just remember that and suddenly I feel so very honored and humbled.

Thanks again!

Blessings!
