Eclipses and cards...

My well informed astronomy friend told me there was an eclipse of the moon last night. We had a fabulous view from the front of the house. Took these pictures with come help from the same friend who is also very well informed about manual digital cameras! His help reminded me that I really should read the manual that came with my camera!

Made these cards too, I love my new blooms!

Ingredients: Anna Griffin paper and sentiments stamps, corner filigree stamp by Clever Cut. Butterfly stamp by Hero Arts, Flower by Blooms to G0.

I've realised I was hard on myself for the last card makers dare. My DH also commented the ideal situation would be to have all those restrictions and still come out with a card I liked.

Those are amazing pictures of the Eclipse. Just as it was going completely covered, we had cloud passing over, so I missed the full blackout, but saw it a bit later when it looked like a sort of blue crystal ball with reddish orange at the bottom. Wish I'd seen it at it's best.

Like the cards too
