Bety's challenge, Robo and cupcakes

Well, every spare minute this weekend has been put into playing and getting to know my Craft Robo. There's a wealth of info online, there is just so much to learn. I am taking things slowly and trying not to get frustrated with my lack of knowledge.

Bety's challenge this month is a recipe of...

*Use soft colors
*Use some Felt or fabric
*Buttons
*Flowers
*Rub ons
*Some chipboard

I had designed a scallop card and flowers on the robo, so that was perfect, here is the card...

Ingredients: Card and flowers cut by Robo, Laura Ashley fabric, TLC Chipboard and Rubon, Button and thread from stash.

As promised some pics of the cupcakes...

So honoured....

I've just been awarded this...

Thank you so much! Please check out the blog HERE, it is truly inspirational!

Am also having much fun playing with my craft robo, will show you some results soon!

Papertake Weekly - SQUARES

I've been baking cupcakes this evening, been sooooo inspired by this blog and shop. Mine don't look that good! Half my batch is chocolate with lemon butter icing, and the other half is lemon and will have icing tomorrow, not sure wether it should be pink or chocolate. They're for a little girl who is 3 tomorrow...

Anyway, had to make her a card too, so inspired by Papertake weekly here it is...

DCM ... stitching

I love stitching on cards, I haven't done any for a while, so was nice to get the old needle and thread out for the DCM challenge... didn't do anything exotic though, just stitched the lace, flower and ribbon to the card. Stitching is a great way of attaching vellum or "lumpy" things to a card where glue just won't do!

Ingredients:
PP by Anna Griffin, Stampin up! stamp, Prima flowers, button, thread and lace from stash.

Another CPS... this time no 54

Here's the card for the CPS sketch this week, with the added theme of "Oh baby"

Ingredients:
PP by K&Co, stamps by Heidi Swapp and Hero Arts, prima flower, scallop scissors, punchies and doodling.

Luke had his Eisteddfod on Monday, here are some pics of him on stage. He didn't win anything for his singing or recitation, but he did get 2nd prize of 20p! for his version of a Van Gogh painting! He's obviously taking after his mother...

Yes, he is wearing a leek!

Took this pic of Ethan today while we were walking to school, it was a lovely sunny day, and it was the first time this year I've noticed the cherry blossom, can you see it?

When we got home, I was upstairs, and Ethan shouted up to me, he said "Jadon was standing up!", Jadon had pulled himself up holding on to the sofa. Oh dear, I think I may have an early walker on my hands!
