Rose Cushion Ta dah!

I made this in May for a dear friend's little girl.  I wanted to give her something that would be practical and pretty, and also something I hope she'll like when she's older.  The pattern can be found {here} on a fab crocheting blog called Apple Blossom Dreams.  There is even a Youtube tutorial if you need it.

Really pleased how the picot edging turned out (I made it up myself, don't ask me how!)

This is the back

Greetings from your fellow rose addict. :-)

The cushion is absolutely beautiful. I love your use of color. You are correct and I never thought about it, but I believe this is a good gift for any age.

Thank you for the kind words and the link up.
