It was Hazel's turn to set the challenge over on Salt, do have a look at what she says, and the creations of the other ladies here.
I found her thoughts particularly challenging and helpful. As my older two children go back to school and I get back into the routine of that I am challenged to look again at myself and my attitude. So often I am not kind and loving, and am extremely impatient with my children. It's ugly and sinful, and not what God has in mind for me. As his child I need to hold on to his promises, that he has given me a new heart. To start each new day in supplication to him, to ask for the Holy Spirit's help in all I do.
The verse I used came to mind as I was pondering these things.
I've been yearning to do some more altered canvases, particularly after picking these up quite cheaply at a Home Bargains store. It is A3 in size. I used acrylic paint on it, then stuck the flowers, verse and butterflies on with a hot glue gun.

this is a true work of art. Just so beautiful!
A beautiful canvas, Ruth - and such a lovely response to my challenge - great choice of scripture x
Wow Ruth, this is amazing!! I love it and I love your honest thoughts about the challenge. We seem to have the same struggles! May God be pleased to grant you the desires of your heart this year...I'm confident that if we pray according to His will, He will answer!! XXOO
