When I was contemplating what to do for this challenge, I thought of the verse that contrast strength and weakness in the Bible, its a verse that is really powerful. It also drives home the message of Jesus, that we can not do anything to please God unless we have the right relationship with him. I also wanted a bold design to contrast with something weak, thats why I choose the feather and the dragonflies. Couldn't resist some glitter either!
Please have a look at the work of the girls on the team here.
Ingredients:
Stamps - Basic Grey and Rhonna Farrer
Punch - X cut and Fiskars
Flower and Swirl - CBC swirl swap
Feather, Glitter and Pebeo Pearl Touch from stash
"My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."It seems lately that I have been made aware of so many people going through so many difficult trials, serious illnesses/injuries, financial strains, marital stress, loss of loved ones, and more. It's often easy for us to begin to question God's purposes and worry or despair. In this chapter of Corinthians, we see the example of the apostle Paul, how he prayed 3 times for God to remove a "thorn in the flesh" (we are not told what it was). God's answer should be our encouragement and comfort as it was Paul's! "My grace is sufficient for you."

GRACE Bunting - Pink alert!
I was comissioned by a friend to make some thing Pink and girly with the name Grace in it, so I had a whale of a time making this!
The triangles and lettering were cut on the Craft Robo, then decorated with Prima flowers and punchies. Then a sprinkling of Pebeo Pearl Touch and glitter for that sparkly look.

I have been so inspired by this wonderful blog... now obviously this lady is a professional and been doing it a while, so I have a long way to go. However I figured if my cards look half decent, decorating cakes can't be too beyond my grasp!
Anyway, I spent some of my birthday money on some cutters, my sister gave me some too, and some fab glitter that just HAS to go on everything! The idea is that for my friend's birthdays, they'll get cupcakes... beautifully decorated.
Here are the first experiments... don't look to closely! And of course, they looked better in real life, and tasted lovely too!
These are some of my experiments with butter icing roses. Found some fab videos on youtube that really helped, check them out here. Some great tips on how to make the icing, what the right consistancy is, and how to actually pipe it. All I need now are some decent piping bags and tips. Do you have any great hints to share with me?

I had to temorarily forget I had a pile of washing up to do, as I just needed to create! A lovely couple at our church recently had a baby, and I had not got round to making a card. I used this week's sketch from Ismaki. The additional challenge was to use purple/violet.
Ingredients:
Paper - Anna Griffin and The Works
Stamp - Magnolia
Flowers - Prima and other.
Punches - Leone Em and other
Brads - Basic Grey
Pebeo Pearl Touch
Lace, ribbon, ricrac and stamens from stash.
