Sorting frenzy!

While the whim is taking me, I'm taking advantage of it!

Been doing a long overdue sort through of craft stuff, and I've just scratched the surface!!! I am a self confessed horder and need to sort it out!

Off course I had to make my sorting look pretty. So I got round to using my Kilner jars for what I intended them for. I have picked up quite a number of them from jumble sales and wanted to use them for storing titbits.

So here is a tidy area...


and here is my dining table!!!


As you can see, not quite there yet!

How do you organise your craft stuff? By items, colours, themes? Any tips would be most valued.

Photos are funny things....

A friend of mine took the following pics of me, and asked if I minded it being posted on Facebook.

I was intrigued as to why he wanted my permission, but when I looked at it I knew why. Although it is not what I would regard as a flattering picture of myself it is an honest one. I find it hard to look at as its a view of myself I don't often have. When we see ourselves it tends to be in a mirror, and I was quite shocked when I was younger to realise that I don't really like my profile. I've learnt to tolerate it now.

What this throws up is an interesting thought of how we view ourselves and way we are percieved by others and how this differs from the way others see and percieve us. And even though we know ourselves very well - how we think, feel and see the world, we never see the whole picture of "me". Thankfully God does, and I am reminded of the following verses...

Psalm 139

For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.

1 O LORD, you have searched me
and you know me.

2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.

3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.

PRAISE!

Praise the Lord! We have got back from a week at the Carey Family Conference. We are shattered but happy.

Thought I'd better update my blog with my involvement with the Salt Faith Challenge blog. I am so privledged to be involved with an international and inspirational group of women. The response so far has been wonderful and I am aiming to have a good look at what people have been creating.

However, as soon as I've posted this I must head for bed!

On each letter is written a verse of the Bible containing the word PRAISE.

Ingredients: PP by Basic Grey, Prima Flowers, butterfly punch (2 sizes), Modge Podge, ribbon, glitter glue and a wooden box.
